Press Release 01/06/2007
Celtic Blue Rock Festival
- ON LINE Ticket service goes live!
The first of June was the official launch of the Celtic Blue Rock Members - Free Tickets payment line on www.celticbluerock.org.uk
The voluntary organisers of the well-respected community festival are announcing that in 2007 it will be a member's only event - and only registered members will gain FREE access to the, five stages - 60 band, fun festival in West Wales. The good news is that anyone can become a member but the bad news is that we currently only have a license for 4999 people. The number of free members tickets for the festival are having to be monitored under the licensing laws and it will be on a first come first served members application basis. When the maximum levels are reached no one else can gain access to the festival field. So:- No Ticket = No Entry! The annual membership is very reasonably priced at only £10 per person over 12 years old, with 12 and under costing £2 each for annual membership. All members will then receive their FREE Celtic Blue Rock Festival ticket a fortnight before the event that will be held on Saturday the 4th of August. Individuals who do not have Internet access can contact the members hotline on 0870 1403174.

Editors Note: The
Celtic Blue Rock Community Youth Arts Association is a voluntary, not for profit run organisation. All committee members are volunteers and receive no remuneration. The association engages with all citizens within the community and is totally reliant on the good will of supportive volunteers - in 2006 we had over 400 volunteers contributing to the successful year round activities of the association. Our aim is to give local young citizens a chance to meet and listen to live local music while also giving young talented musicians a chance to perform. The association has a policy to support an annual charity and in 2006 the "Make-A-Wish Foundation" was given £3,200 by supporters and collectors at the summer event, thus ensuring a wish was granted to a very ill child. (see www.make-a-wish.org.uk ) - "Make-A-Wish grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. The charity was founded in the UK in 1986 and, since then, we have granted over 4,200 wishes. Whether a wish is to be a princess or a policeman for a day, own the latest computer equipment, meet a favourite celebrity or just enjoy some special time away from home with their family, a wish come true brings so much to a child's life and provides memories for the family that last a lifetime.")
